STEAM contest "Drawings of small artists "


On November 24, 2012, at the International Theoretical High School of Informatics from Constanta, Romania, was hold teh award ceremony of the Competition “Drawings of small artists” realized by the European Centre fro Social Responsability, in paternship with the International HIgh School of Informatics, having the support of the Constanta County School Inspectorate.

The competition aimed to develop cultural values, plastic talent, the spirit of competition and fair play among the young generation, and at the same time develop the imagination and creative talent of the participants by carryng out work corresponding to the theme “Black Sea and four seasons”.


Held between October 30-November 22, 2012, the competition was intended for children between 3 and 6 years old, enrolled in state and private kindergartens and placement centres in Constanta county, Romania. Among the hundreds od small artists participants, who represented 30 educational units from Constanta County (Constanta city and localities: Agigea, Amzacea, Casicea, Scărișoreanu, Topalu, Gârliciu, Crucea, Ghindărești, Fântânele), the first place recipients were distinguished: Lucia Fuduli, from kindergarten Zubeyde Hanim (category: 3-4 years), Robert Dumitrescu (category: 4-5 years), Bianca Gunache (category: 5-6 years), students of Kindergarten Friend. The award of excellence and the gold medal was won by Yarina Lamine, also a student of the Kindergarten of the Friend. All students enrolled in the contest received a diploma of participation. They were welcomed and rewarded by Mrs. deputy director of the International High School of Informatics, Prof. Alina Mihalache, Elif Memet, a bright student in the 10th grade of the International High School of Informatics and, at the same time, by the project director of the Contest “Drawings of small artists” Dr. Cristina Dragomir, representative of the European Centre of Social Responsibility.
